First time out hit 58 on the GPS - 94 Speedster

Took the boat out today on the Severn River near Annapolis. It was the first time having the boat out since I bought her. I have to say I was blown away at the speed, the water was pretty calm in the cove near the Marina and I opened it up and hit 58 on the GPS. The water down near the mouth of the bay was much more choppy and I was afraid to run it wide open as the waves were really bad and the kids were scared. But all in all it ran great with 2 adults and 2 kids 58 is really good.:thumbsup:

Might try the Inner Harbor tommorrow.

I usually run about 50 but last weekend I went out with my daughter and it was smooth as glass in the bay and topped out at 54 mph on the speedo... 2002 utopia 240 m2

Ill try it again next weekend see if I can get it up that high again, I was surprised myself to see 58 on my iphone gps app, maybe it's not 100 accurate but it seems close when I clock my car with it. If i can do it ill post a picture
