I did what you suggested murjiim, I got a fully threaded one and cut it to the length I wanted. On mine, and I think all 717's there are 3 bolts and one stud (the right forward one). The length is crucial on the one in the stud location for the purpose of getting a nut on it. I "converted" my problem location into a stud rather than a bolt. As mentioned before, since the threads were boogered up I drilled the receptor hole deeper and threaded it. At the Home Depot by us they had a "set" that was packaged together. It included the proper sized drill bit and tap. If I remember correctly the problem location on my manifold was the right rear. The flange on the manifold sticks out pretty far and I could actually drill through to the bottom so there is probably 3/4" to 1" of area where the new stud is in place. The exhaust bolts have to be torqued pretty tight on the manifold so you don't get an exhaust/water leak, so I wanted as much contact area in the manifold as possible. Good luck!!!
