Engine alarm sound when flushing

It's probably overheating. The flush fitting is "T-ed" into the cooling system, and the bulk of the water will go right out the pump, via the pick-up tube. SO... unless you have very good pressure on the hose... you won't push water up, into the engine.

I had that problem using the hose that I keep in my garage. It's a thin, recoil type of hose. To flush my Islandia... I had to get out the real garden hose, that is 3/4" to 1" around.

I'm thinking of putting a fitting in the hose that crosses the 2 heads. That way, it will be a true Back-flush.
