Is my bottom hull double or single fiberglass? I only ask because I have a Hummingbird Fish Finder/Depth finder that came with the boat but the transducer(mounted on the transom) was broke off by someones foot getting in the boat. Anyway, i am ordering a new one and according to Hummingbird i mount it on the hull inside the boat to the bottom if its a single hull fiberglass bottom. I would prefer to mount it in the boat because I think its just gonna get kicked off again remounting it in the same spot.

It's a single hull.... but it's thick. do they give a spec on how thick the hull can be?

I can't find a specific thickness. I may just lay it on the bottom of the hull and put a sandbag over the top and take the boat out and see if it works well. If it does i will attach it with a slow cure epoxy, fast curing ones contain air bubbles that will deviate the accuracy.
