Dog chewed my seat

Hi guys i have a gtx 97 and a millinnium gp1200r i also own 4 dogs 3 english and american staffies and our youngest sas busted on the gtx ripping the seat apart, is there any way of patching seats?

Some nice looking seat covers are available online, restuff the worst areas the best you can and put a cover on it.

The youngest is a pup of the mum and dad, he sure done a good job he has ripped both seats on both jet ski apart :facepalm: do u think if i restuff the old foam with new foam the bulges will show on the new cover?

Getting a second hand seat from the USA will set me back around $350 with shipping

Depending on how badly it's mangled, stuffing and duct tape might make it smooth enough. It would be worth some experimentation before coughing up $350.
I know the feeling, I had the same happen to a dirt bike.

Duct tape now that is an idea that should smoothen out the lumpy bits before the cover goes on thanks for that :thumbsup:

there are no huge chunks but he has taking bites out of it all over the GTX and on the GP1200R he just bit in one location

Buy just the foam from a seller on ebay it will save shipping costs. Use your current seat pan

if there are chucks of foam gone contact glues some pieces to fill take ELECTRIC Carving knife to shape once dry you van smooth it with a disk sander I will glue a 1./4 thin foam layer over the area TO Mask imperfections in the foam sometimes

all sport 4 way streach vinyl can be used on the seat with no sewing 2 yards will do your seat as I did my 2 97s
