Hey All,

I've rebuilt a 4TEC 130 and a 155, the displacement is the same, the intake is the same, the cam is the same, looks like the degree on cam is the same. How are they getting the additional 25HP outta the 155. Have I got an additional 25HP lurking in my GTI base with a modified fuel table/fuel map?

Any input is appreciated!

Ive read before that the cam was different and the rest was timing related in the ECU programming. If you can confirm the cam is the same, then i think it is safe to bet it is all programming.

Thanks Foster I just double checked, different part no. for the cam on each watercraft. So that would be the cause of the 25HP increase on the 155. As I understand they both turn the same RPM.

Yes, you're right. The only difference is in the firmware.
You can get more 25hp on your 130 if you reprogram ECM (ECU) with firmware (table/fuel map) from 155.
This opportunity allows the program DIUS Flasher.
But only for models 2007-2010 (ECM = Siemens VDO).
Read description of Standard (tuning) Firmware for ECM 420665783 on this page.
