Just went to the Detroit Boat show in a snow storm. They had everything from row boats to a 40 ft Searay with a flying bridge. BUT ONLY ONE SEADOO SPEEDSTER and it was laying on the floor. Seadoo had about 3 wave runners and Yamaha had 30-40. Yamaha had 20 jet boats and man do they look sweet. I really need to see some new seadoo's before I switch teams!!!!!

It was all dealers there, so maybe that's why no Seadoo boats.

i dig the new 21ft challengers, but not the price tag. Think, i'll keep resurrecting the 2-stroke boats.

We went to the 2012 Detroit boat Show.

Seadoo again dropped the ball. Michigan is in the top 2 in boat registrations for the country and SD doesn't show up.
No Seadoo booth, only 1 dealer with PWC. They had 3 of them crammed in a small booth area with one 18ft challenger. You couldn't even walk around the boat and 2 of the PWC due to the small space. Although the rep for the dealer was very knowledgeable and helpful.

The dealer for Yamaha had 12 PWCs there, (no boats).
Even the Honda dealer had 3, supposedly new left over from 2009. He said that Honda is coming back with new PWC for 2013.

No Bikini contest :(

The 1st, 2nd and 4th are GTi 130 motor/PWC

3rd one is RXP 260

Last one is Jet pump with braking feature.

Here are some pictures.

My buddy was leaning towards yahamaha but wanted to see some seadoo's. With only 1 seadoo's there to look at, he decided to go with the Yamaha and bought it at the show when we were there yesterday.
It's not seadoo's fault, it's the seadoo's dealerships that don't go to the boat show.

A $7500 dual PWC lift with cover.

They don't sell SD, the rep told me they borrowed it from a friend's dealership for show purposes.
