Hey guys i need some help i have 96' GSX, it runs great idles great, but at WOT it cuts out, i can give it gas 7/8 of the way and it runs great but as soon as the accelerator hits the handle bar and it gets to top speed after about 4 or 5 seconds it cuts out it doesn't stall but acts like it wants to ill pump the gas two or three times and its fine. this only happens at complete WOT. whats the issue?

if the rectifier is going bad would my 12 volt low signal be on? And also what is the best way to clean the two rave valves?

a lot of times, the voltage goes high, and the electronics do strange things if it gets up to 15v.

But... if you are pumping the throttle... I'd be looking at the carbs

sounds like your internal carb filters are clogged, they will allow enough flow until full throttle, but then it bogs down at full throttle due to lack of fuel.

when you pump the throttle, the acc pumps squirts gas into the motor.

what you describe is a common symptom of clogged filters, especially on the 800 motor?

i thought it was the carbs also, because i did put on battery and charging system tester on it and it was good it wasn't doing anything weird it stayed between 12 and 14 volts. I'm going to start with easy things first which is the carbs and the rave valves. clean them up and i will let you guys know whats going on. thanks
