I'm thinking of rebuilding my 580 in my GTS but don't want to crack the crank case. The thing doesn't smoke, so the inner seals are good. I want to keep them this way 
My question is, if I wanted to replace the outside crank seals, can I do so with the crankcase together? Is it like the 787 where you can only replace one w/o breaking it open? Is that replaceable one the larger or smaller diameter?
