i also like this quote

Motors both have 135 compression!!! When you buy a boat brand new the compression is 150.

sooooo if that were true, how is this a good thing :)

You see, the way it works is this. When it is new, compression is 150

If it is only 135 now that means it has lost 15 psi (Thats only 10%)

You replace the top end when compression reaches 0 so assuming it is a linear scale the new owner should be able to get the rest of the life out of it...the other 90%!

exactly! glad somebody put that into the correct words.
too funny. Kind of like your car using up over half of its oil between oil changes at 50K miles.......

my first thought....holy crap on a cracker !

then I read it... maybe the header was a typo.

I'm actually completely baffled over this one. Is #1 a copy of #2 ? or did the same guy post in 2 area's but made a typo in #2.. ?

Please tell me thats supposed to be $550.00
Otherwise my brain is going to fail me....

Nope I emailed him, total jackwagon. He proceeded to tell me he had someone coming over to check it out to put it in his garage as a collectable. LOLOL then the next day he sends me another email asking if "if I was interested or what" I told him I wouldnt take it for free if he delivered it.

And just to clear it up....the 5500 guy was too lazy to take his own pictures, or even write his own original ad. If you look the registration is IL, not MN.

He's right about them being collector items. They seem to collect a lot of dirt in the foot wells while they lay motionless in backyards across America.........

Hahahahhahahahahhahahahahhahaha!!!
He drops a zero off that price and will still take awhile to sale... Ha I wanna trade my skis in at his dealer!!

Im sure you will be getting a call soon. The guy who sent him money is probably going to send him a $10000 cashiers check by mistake and ask him to western union the extra money he sent to a location in argentina

Ya know, that just might work in this case considering what we know so far......

would somebody please clarify the description of "great shape" ??
Ill bet with close ups, I'll see something wrong.

Still searching for a nice 2-place. Hopefully I can kind find one that's in mint, crazy, super duper shape by comparison... ;)

EDIT: I just realized there's at least three different trailer pictures shown here:facepalm:

great mechanical shape maybe?

I see 3 different trailers.

The rusty one

The white one-look at where the main rail meet the tongue it's triple beamed, the ruysty one is not

And the black one in the back

The triple beam white one is clean looking as is the black one. I understand your looking for showroom mint, your idea of great shape and someone else are not always the same.

I have that same "style" trailer under a different mfg. It's a love hate relationship. I love it that it's a large lower trailer, I hate that it's painted. I loath painted trailer, I know you freshwater guys like them. I just don't want to have to "touch up" my trailer. With galvanized I don't have to worry about chipped paint. I'm waiting for my buddy to break out his industrial compressor and sand blaster and I'm going to do my single place. He refinishes flatbed rig trailers for himself and makes them all nice again so he doesn't look ragged out rolling down the street.

Well, you already know I have issues.... That's no big secret ;)

Silver is ok, white is weird. I am still waiting for a decent 2-place that is 15' +/- long. I don't need showroom new, but
I absolutely hate rust. Being a car guy, its like the antichrist for me.....
There is a 2006 nice karavan for sale near me for about $750. good price, just can't get over the 17' length. I have no need to setup a patio table & chairs in front of my skis. All my gear goes in the back of my truck anyway.

I have this one up for trade on CL right now, seeing if there is anyone looking to downsize to a SP trailer. Its a 1997 I think, but pretty clean for its age IMO.
Its not mint, But it falls into the "great shape" category.

I would even throw in the kids old computer desk & a car seat!

That's what I have been considering. I have a spot that I keep my snowmobile & seadoo trailers in the garage during their respective seasons. I roll them in & turn them 90 degrees sideways in front of the 3rd stall door. anything over 15' & the tongue sticks out & its too close to where I pull my daily driver in. sometimes I get an idea in my head of what I want to do, & I loose focus of other options. I'm in no rush though, so its no big deal.

LOVE IT!!! lol this ad is likely the best fail of the year. You should write him back and tell him seadoo owners across the country are laughing at him. Also ask him why he isnt using pictures of his actual ski since most people buying a collectable want to see the actual ski...thats what puts this one on its own level that will be tough to beat!

EDIT.....awww the ad is gone now...must have sold it...LOLOLOL
