S sketchpad New Member Aug 20, 2010 #1 I know it says point the arrow towards the exhaust port, pretty straight forward, but was wondering about the hole in the piston on the opposite side. It just seems that this should be facing the exhaust. If not, what is that port for?

Dr Honda Well-Known Member Aug 21, 2010 #2 Arrow toward the exhaust port. The hole is to open the bypass port so air/fuel can flow into the combustion chamber when the piston is at BDC.
