hi...I recently bought a 95 GTS and its in pieces... so i beleive it came with a 587 motor... I would like to put a 720 motor in it.... along with that motor I would like to put the same gauges in that a 95 GTX has in it.... can some oen please intruct me on what commbinations of components and or even is this modification even possible... will a 95 gtx mpem work with a 720 motor... heard that motor will bolt right in...

thanks steve

I'm interested in the same swap on my 94 gts. There's about a 20mph difference between this and my xp. It'd be nice to have this one able to stay a little closer so I don't have to slow down all the time :)

Basically... you need a full donor 720 ski, with a bad hull, to make it cost effective. If you dont' use the 720 ignition, and MPEM... you won't get full power since the top RPM's will be clipped. Also... with more HP... you will need the impeller and nozzle from a 720 ski.

Unless you have a sentimental attachment to the ski you would be better off selling what you have and buying a ski with a 720.

ok...so the mechanical end of it is the easy part....what i am more concerned with is the electrical part.....can anyone submit a list of electrical components to make this swap work to the full potential of a 720 motor?
