Hi All,

I was out on the lake today on my 98 challenger everything fine then all of a sudden one engine speed up to max rpm on it own try to adjust the throttle no effect. I try to kill the engine with the start/stop switch but no luck, then I pull the lanyard and finely it stop. I start it back up and it revving to max rpm on it own, and stop by pulling the lanyard. So I make it back to the ramp on one engine, then I try to start the other engine and get a lound continuous beep and the engine still revving to max rpm by it self. Gas is full so it not low gas beep indicator, does anyone know what the problem is? thanks.

If it's reving to full RPM in the water... the carbs are stuck. Some times... a 2-stroke will run away, while out of the water... but never in the water.

Pull you air box, and see what's wrong with the carbs.

The continuous beep is an over heating condition.
