Check engine light and engine wont even turn over
OK...post edited..found the problem
I tried everything I could on the water and this escaped me! Got home ran the codes and got:
PO231 FUELPUMP
PO616 STARTER RELAY
P1200 BLOW BY VALVE SHORTED
I put a volt meter in the starter relay connector and hit the starter button and no voltage
there's noway all these things failed at once, it ran when I pulled out last time...
I checked every fuse I knew existed, all hanging on the starter, hanging off harness' in bay, all under console in fuseblock, THEN I SAW THE FUSEBLOCK NEXT TO THE STARTER! (you gotta pull rear starbord seat bucket out)pulled the cover and there is the fuel pump fuse laying in the cover! HOW THE HECK DOES THAT HAPPEN?? never had that cover off..anyways the pump not working disables other features re starter and blowby valve
Why the hell they didnt put in one fuse block with everything labeled is just friggin stupid Bad Engineering!
LESSON: KNOW WHERE ALL YOUR FUSES ARE LOCATED
CARRY A CHEAP VOLTMETER ON THE BOAT SOMEWHERE TO CHECK CONTINUITY AND PLUG VOLTAGES
