Yeh the part number is 16clb. Carquest and walmart are at about $65. That will leave you enough for the battery tender that will make it last for years.

I use Die-Hard batteries. The wet battery is about $55 and the AGM is about $90. If you get them on sale... they are cheaper.

can i just go to like an auto parts place and pick up the battery with the part number? or does it have to be a specific marine battery from a marine place ?

i have a trickle.. i just never put it on the battery, my dumb friend said leave the battery over the winter and put it on about a week before you want to use the ski .. yeaaa not a smart idea i bought this battery not even a year ago

also does anyone know where i can get those bungee cables that hold the battery down? mine no longer stretch and i feel if i pull hard enough theyll just break apart

whats the length of the cable? (unstretched)

get a agm battery, not an acid battery... i bought mine at batteries plus, i think 115 with a 2 yr warranty (coupon got it that low) normally the 115 will get you a 1 yr battery , i think its called x2... i'm a big fan of good batteries, and warranty's.

didn't autozone have some deal going on, or advanced ?

i charged my battery all night last night and threw it in the ski, it gave one good kick before it died immediately, brought it to west marine and they said the battery was shot and tried to get me to buy a 150 dollar battery... is there a place online where i can buy a battery from for less?

anyone use that place ^^
I'm just using the walmart agm batteries in my ski's. I do put my batteries on a tender and charge once in awhile in the off season. I have a small voltmeter I keep with the batteries and in passing I will test the voltage and if they are low I will put them on the charger and top them off. I've had the same batteries since before I joined this forum. They start my skis but I will probably be retiring them this summer.

I bought from Griz 400 recommendation a Odyssey battery PC625 AGM cheapest place including shipping was Amazon for just over 90$.
During checkout if a applied for a Amazon credit card I'd get 30$ off,.... 60$ battery it was. I cancelled the card 1 week later.
Quality battery IMHO, can be bought at Sears and other places.
