also check/replace air filter and check clean air intake manifold, dirt and grime can build up inside throttle body causing reduce air flow.
If it is the SC, can I still drive it w/out further damage? I know the safest answer, but I just use it to go back and forth to the dock and beach.
When a hose comes off or cracks from the itercooler, you lose 20-26 mph and about 2000 RPM. If the SC fails you get the same thing. Check the IC hoses very well. If they are good, pull the SC hose and see if you can spin the SC with your finger. It should be VERY hard to spin.

Cannot spin the SC with my fingers, it won't spin at all. I cannot get the SC off, the sockets I have will strip the bolts so I have to wait for my local Mechanic to get back from vacation. Can I see the Washer from the Hose side? and Should the SC spin at all? I assume these are torque head bolts but nobody in this poo dunk town knows what I am talking about.
BRP stopped using ceramic washers a few years back 2007-2008?? Does anybody know the last year of the ceramic ones? I don't see the year of the boat in question in this thread. If it is a more recent year, don't worry about the ceramic washer explosions. Mine is a 2009 and I am not going to do anything to the SC unless it stops performing. I have 130 hours on it and performs well - at WOT it jumps to 8000 then usually tapers back to 7500-7600 ish.
