Finally got my boat in the water last seson but the engine vibrated like cracy. All the studs and bolts at the exhaust went loose......two times. Was breaking in the new top end so manage to cut the engine in time.
Anyway thought I mess up when I mesured my crank(bought the engine with new top end but sized just after start up). Broke down the engine mesured again but straight as ever. So counter balance shaft everyone told me. Split the crankcase and the marks allinge just fine......but read that you should "manually" time the crank against the CB. Due to the lack of pics on split 951 cases I´m very unsurtain how to do this
This is how mine looked when I split it

First pic is with the marks alligned

Anyone got any ideas?
Left to do is to check for bent driveshaft. Also I didn´t alingn the engine after it been rebuild, just went for the same shims as was before. Don´t know if maybe the timing could be off? When I first got it in the water it ran great at idle and at surtain rpm
