I have a 96xp and I'm rebuilding the carbs.

I have been able to get the rubber plug into the plastic disk (check vave), but can't get the rubber plug into the carb. I have searched for other posts and I saw a suggestion to use a 2mm ball end allen wrench and index, but I still can't make it work.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jeff

If you noticed... the little plugs are hollow. if you put a ball end driver in it... it will allow the rubber to stretch, and go into the hole. if you use a regular wrench, it will pop a hole though the plug. (bad)

To help: make sure the hole in the carb is clean, and put a little 2-stroke oil on the tip of the rubber plug. It will slide in with just a little pressure.
