Can't read gauge very wrinkled

I have two 2004 GTX. I cannot read the gas gauge on either ski. They are very wrinkled and shiny. I have purchased new foil for them. Anyone have suggestions on opening the gauges to replace

I don't recall who, but they did a pretty good write up on it here at the site. I'll do some searching later today...
