Hey everyone! Just joined so please be gentle if I jumped the gun on posting, but Id rather DIY then spends thousands at the dealer. I got an IBR issue while on the water yesterday and had to limp back with 3 people for like 2 miles, it was an experience lol. When I got home, I did some searching to see what could be the issue, and it seems like it could be a lot of things. My main issue is right now the IBR is stuck and cannot move, even in override mode, so getting it off may be a pain. I have read that it could be the motor for it as well, but I have no idea where the motor is located in the ski. I am very mechanically inclined, I just need to know where it is first so I can get it out and troubleshoot it. All fuses are checked and they are good. I even swapped them out just to be sure. Giving the IBR some rubber hammer taps doesn't work either, so I assume the motor is the issue. Any guidance would be helpful as far as tearing down the IBR in its current state as well as locating the motor assembly so I can pull it. Thanks everyone!
