Sabr - That was great. the best written example I've ever seen.

Although I thought the example for "then" should be the reversed.....First I drank the malt liquor THEN I stole the panda bear.

I post the URL on FB.

Who has Skype?

OK enough of hijacking the thread let's get back on the topic .

the oat meal is good, you should read them all.

one of the advantages of the modern world, working from home.... he's like, i can't pull up the document, i need to reboot, i'll call you in a few hours'... and he's riding a jet ski. lol.

Okay guys, thanks for the help.... Got a bigger vise and that was the answer..... Got it off with no problem, now I can move on to something else!!!

That's good to hear.

How big did you go...just wondering? I can see a huge 24 inch vice on your work bench.....LOL :)

I don't know about the other guys but personally I've never used locktite when re-installing. Since the impellers only spin in one direction I never saw the need for locktite.

Nah, my mobile forklift mechanic has what looks like a 12" vise in his trailer. We put it in there, breaker bar and a section of pipe, it was off in a minute.
I haven't replaced my personal vise yet.....although it's on the list.

I don't know about the anti-seize, the only ski that I have had to use a section of pipe on is my 96GTI, it still had the original wear ring from the factory, and was about 13 years old when I got it. I've changed it one time since (last fall) and the impeller came off with just a breaker bar.
