Theoretical situation here: You've pulled the head on a 4tec to change the valves out. You put the head back on and attached the timing chain. How do you turn it over by hand to make sure you got the timing right? I never do a timing belt or chain on a car and not check the timing by hand, but the only way I can think of to turn the motor over is by sticking a tool into the driveshaft splines. What if the driveshaft is still in? Is there a practical way to turn one of these babies over without using the starter?
