So now comes the job of fixing an engine with ingested rave valve (oh brother, another project).
The valve went in when the engine was idling so maybe (maybe) the damage is no as bad as if the engine had been running fast.
I will pull the head, clean the debris, and then pull the cylinder and piston to inspect.
How likely is that the connecting rod bearings also got damaged from the sudden stoppage? Should I do a complete teardown of the engine to inspect?
