Hello. So I've got a '96 SeaDoo Speedster. My Rule Bilge Pump (500GPH) burned out the 3amp fuse. When I insert the new fuse, it immediately pops and burns out the new fuse. What am I doing wrong? I've replaced it before, so this is a new problem. I'm guessing I have a corroded wire down at the pump? I seem to carry a bit of water with me in the motor compartment, so the wires stay wet. I can't get to the pump, you know how far down they are. Any suggestions or should I just get it serviced?

I welcome your advice and thank you in advance!

sounds like your pump is on the way out. The bearings in the pump are probably starting to rust, and the motor is frozen.
