I know this topic probably has been covered somewhere so my apologies if I missed it. My ski took some pretty bad, mostly cosmetic, damage during the week.

I am probably going to purchase them for quick ties up at the ramp when I'm loading and unloading from my trailer. I did stumble across this as I was researching:

They are 7 1/2 feet long and 15 inches tall. The company's website says they are made for "low profile" watercraft and could be used for PWC's. I'm thinking this could be useful for docking for longer periods such as overnight with some bungee cords to secure it. Good or overkill?
On a side note I've stayed at a couple cottages without proper boat lifts. There seems to be no good way to keep your PWC in the water overnight. Why can't someone come up with a system better than taking your ski back to the ramp every night and loading it up on trailer (and having your wife made at you for needing someone to drive)?
