Beeper replacement

Just to update this thread I went with the RadioShack buzzer. Works great, and I didn't have to jump the constant and pulse. I didn't have to cut any of the Styrofoam. It snapped it into the regular clip then just zip tied the clip tight to keep the buzzer in the stock position.

Now I need to get my gauge sorted cause with all the lights on after the 2 beeps it just buzzes. LOL! I confirmed if I unplug the gauge I only get the 2 beeps then nothing else.

Just to bump this for the Noobs,
I just spoke with a Floyd Bell engineer and he recommended a new beeper number.
The new number is SP-1136 it now comes with about 3' of factory color coded wire.
Price is $17.38 but they charge another $17 for shipping. I have no clue how they justify that shipping price but they wouldn't budge on it so I ordered 3 beepers to make myself feel better.

Wow. Radio Shack beepers for me! Have worked great for the last two full seasons. I honestly don't care if someone pulls off my bar pad and sees that I have cut away a small amount of plastic and am holding it in with a zip tie.

I agree but some of of us have a disorder and like everything stock. I am ok spending the $30 if it lasts another 20 years.
