Friends, I'm looking to replace my starting battery on my 2001 Sea Doo Utopia 185 w/ Mercury V6 Optimax 210 engine. I'm not finding any information on the web about starting capacity or class of battery. Can someone help me to make sure I get the correct replacement?
you want an 800 CCA starting battery, not a deep cycle.
Just got one myself, found a bit of research on it. You may be able to get higher than 800, but plan on $90 or so.
my original battery was a hybrid battery (rv battery?) half way between starting and deep cycle. I replaced it with an agm battery. I can't remember the type but I love how long it stays charged between uses
