Ok so I installed the two battery disconnect thinking that I had a possible leach of power somewhere but that isn't the case. I am thinkn that my batteries are just bad. Prior to installing the switch I put both batteries on a charger, installed them back in the boat, installed the disconnect, dry started the boat just to make sure it started, turned everything back off, including the disconnect and then went to the river today. I drove an hour and a half away "didnt bring the jumper pack" only to release the boat and have it not start!!!!!!!!! UGH. Well when I bought the boat the previous owner had a receipt for the batteries 5-25-08. They had a 12 mth warranty which is obviously over with but do you think its possible for them to go bad after 14 mths? I mean I have eliminated any sort of battery drainage so I'm thinkn it has to be the batteries.
Now the real kicker is where the hell can I go tomorrow "Sunday" to get two new batteries. I just got home from Walmart and they don't have any "sealed" batteries. Do I need a sealed one?
