I have a '98 Speedster with twin 85hp motors. this is my first season with it and i love it, no complaints. But I am wondering how much of an improvement solas impellers are. can anyone let me know? do u gain top speed? or pick-up? fuel economy? or all of the above? and r they a good choice anyway? thanks

Opinions...?

I think this might be an opinion type thread. I'm sure some have found the right combination for them to feel they got their monies worth. I personally bought a Solas Concord for my GTX last year and really wasn't thrilled with the results. I actually called the place I bought it from, told them what the results were, they asked me to send it back and they would send me one that would be different. The change to me, still didn't warrant the $200 plus bucks I spent on it.

So, I think this is something that you'll see different results on, from different people. If you do decide to go with a new impeller, I'd suggest you go to Impros website. Here, you'll find professionals who know the progressive pitch that'll fit your needs better than anyone else. Good luck!
