adding a tach to a 95 gtx

is it possible to add a tach to a 1995 GTX? It does have the multifunction gauge.
any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Yes you can, you can either get a tach from a 95 xp or install an aftermarket tach. The 95 gtx has the same mpem as the 95 xp and the 95 spx

You can use any of the Seadoo tach's. It just taps the stator wire (one of the yellow wires) to count the RPM's.

The OEM tachs are hard to read if the needle is faded...I would recommend a digital.

i feel like I work for the company because i'm always posting this ...

but i've had great luck with my TTO Tach.

i paid under $40 shipped on ebay, i've soaked it, beat up on it, and it still works great a year later.

duly noted: this is about the actual size (its a tiny little thing)
