I bought a new battery this year for my 99 GTX and when I went to install it I noticed a small spark between battery post and terminal wire. If I let the machine set for a week the battery goes dead. I know it is drawing current but what could be some of the possibilities? The starter on this unit is not as fast as my 97 GTX and was wondering if there is a short in there. None of the gages work could it be the MPEM? I just need a starting point. Any suggestions? it runs great besides that problem.
