98 Speedster power ?

I am looking at buying a 1998 Speedster twin engine.
I was wondering if it was going to have the power needed to pull a wakeboarder?
Also hows the wake behind a 98.. They look to have a deeper Vhull then my 96 sportster..

Thoughts ?

Power wont be a problem. I havent pulled anyone yet since I have only had it a month, but it has plenty of power. I don't see there being any problem.

Twin engine?...

I only have one issue with the twin engine models.....they are a pain to get to and work on! So, lets hope you only have the good fortune of boating and regular maintenance..........:cheers:

wakeboarding..

no problems stud, especially with hte 2-110hp. Got back last night, from 4 days at Laughlin, lug'n my little bro around (200+), my boat (2-85hp), ripped him up, no prob...

I have sold the 96 sportster and hopefully picking up my 98 Speedster tomorrow or Thursday... Cant wait, to get my hands on it!
