97xp won't turn over

Yesterday my 97xp was riding perfectly fine. When I woke up today, it wouldn't turn over. I am able to control the vts so I double checked the battery and it is fully charged. Any ideas?

tap the starter

Try jumping the posts on the starter relay, if it turns over the relay is bad.

If the above recommendations do not turn up anything load test the battery. Bad batteries will still operate the vts and show charged on a charger but will not supply the load needed.

Jumping the solenoid is always a good test.. This will tell you many things. No matter if it cranks or not, it helps to figure things out.
