97 XP optional hour meter

I'm sure like most models our XP has a blank for a gauge just under the VTS gauge. Was there an optional gauge that was available for this model? Is it possible to add an hour meter there or anywhere else on the ski for that matter?

you could add whatever kind of meter you want. however, an hour meter would be kinda useless because its a 1997 and i doubt there are 0 hours on it now! i think the hour meter just runs into the computer and the computer logs how much time the ski has been running. I want to put a depth finder in that spot or possibly a lake water temp gauge. keep in mind you can always cut out the hole a little bigger if you need to add something larger. i dont think they make a hour meter that small
