So I'm considering rebuilding the oil injection pump; any guides / references would be appreciated. The seadoo manual is a bit light IMO to actually rebuild / troubleshoot the valve and replace the cable.

1) the cable / connector at the pump is floopy - technical term - there doesn't appear to be any tension, and the cable doesn't seem to be attached to the valve cam assembly - it's not clear how it gets tension and connects I suspect a spring or something is missing.
2) where can I find the line sizes for the little / big oil lines -anyone have vendor(s) they recommend
3) can I just take the oil pump off the front and test it on the bench and figure out if it's working before I get ass deep in alligators?

You do not rebuild the injection pumps.
The pump comes right off the front of your 787.
Post some pictures so we can see if the spring is missing.

There is no reason to replace the 12mm or 8mm lines unless they are damaged.
The 3/32" lines are tygon fuel lines available at most lawn mower shops.

I was wrong, there is a spring but it’s popped off below the cable cam, pix below. The cable is is snaggly too.
