looking for help, wonder if this might be a common thing.
had the sea doo out last weekend after winter storage was ran out of it (1st run of the year) and then the next day took it out and it started to bog and choke and sneeze till it finally died. took a look at it figuring fuel problem, so I put in a new set of plugs the others were soaked with gas and oil from attempting starting, checked fuel filter and found very dirty half clogged and pitch black gas. thought it was just some bad gas cleaned it and tried to run it through, it ran for a bit then died. ultimately I found out that the full fuel tank was full of pitch black colour gas and some sort of sand looking sediment. tried to recreate the look with other gas and sand/oil/stabilizer conjuction (our homemade test lab for the day) with no luck we drained the tank out best we could and are ready to fill fresh, what i would really like to know if anyone knows what caused this black gas problem that it wont run on. I dont wan't it to happen to a fresh tank and do this all over again, any help would be much appreciated as well is there any easy way to get the last bit of junk out of the bottom of the tank. hope someone can help, thank you! sorry this is so long wanted to leave all details. still new at learning about sea doo's as well.
