96xp hull swap questions

I have a 96xp 580 with a front to back crack along the bottom. I just bought and picked up a perfect 96xp 787 hull assuming that the mounts were the same. I figured that the cradle was different and there was no way that there could be 2 different hulls. Well I now now the contrary.
My questions begin; Can i install the 580 into the 787 hull? Are the rear mount bosses in the correct location? Will the 580 jet pump mount to the 787 hull?
Please send some knowledge my way, I really need input. Thanks, Dan.

there was no 580 xp in 1996, there was a 95xp, with a 717 motor, which the back mounts will align, but you'l need to fiberglass in, 2-front mounts. The pump is the same, but will need to replace the impellor with the one from the damaged hull.
