I put 4 solid hours on the xp today. I had to come in because I got a blister on my thumb from the throttle. There is nothing like an 787 X4!

Took her out yesterday. Immediately have fallen in love. Fast and turns on a dime! Even with a passenger, I was impressed with the speed. The balance with a second rider is another story lol...but hey, at least I didn't flip it.....yet.....hehe. Was having so much fun I forgot to take photos! Will have some soon, promise

Man that's great to hear. Be sure to close that valve when hose flushing and leave it open the rest of the time.

The jettrim seat has already been grabbed by Matt, sorry brother

I think he was just making fun of me for wanting the old ragged seat, right? If not you can have it for a lot less than $600 lol.

Just my luck it was actually made for a pre-787 ski. To make it fit someone had cut the plastic underneath so the pipe would clear.

Didn't wanna post a new thread so I'll just keep it on here...my fiance loved riding my xp so I'm trying to surprise her with one of her own. Found this on cl, talked owner down to 300 from 600 and trailer is included. Supposedly ran when parked 2 years ago. Has title, key, etc. Think it's a good pick up? uploadfromtaptalk1402615886055.jpg

Has the smaller 717 motor. I would stick with a true 96xp...that's a gti

It's a good ski. Lou calls it "the Buick" ha ha. It is more stable and not as fast but she will like it and the entry price is good.

Looks like I'm going to check out another 96 xp on the way to the mountains, guy is asking 700 with trailer, claims it only needs a battery so gonna bring one with me. Looks like if this goes through, I'm gonna be in the market to trade two single ski trailers for a double!

And the problems continue... ran it yesterday to dry out the engine, had to hit the starter a few times, kept clicking every time starter was pressed. it finally turned over, ran fine. flushed the engine with flush kit, attempted to start it this morning, got nothing. Clicking but no turning over still happening, and when it finally takes, just turns and turns, doesn't crank. Battery is fully charged. blah.
