96 GTX info gauge issue

Hello everyone... still working out the kinks on my 96 GTX. The latest is the Info Guage. Has anyone ever seen this type of error message and

Looks like your gauge film is shot. You can replace it.

I should have provided more details - I just replaced the film because it was garbage. The attached pic is after replacement. The crazy verbiage displayed and the fuel reading is what I don’t understand. Also, the i unhooked the fuel sending unit and the display didn’t change.

Check the large pin connector that joins the LCD display to the main board, a poor connection with corrosion, etc will cause the display to wig out..
