I've got an 95XP800 and I've found absolutely no problems with reliability or parts, the only extra maintenance is the bearing carrier. And that's not a bad price, if the ski is in good condition, spring is around the corner. I don't think I would bother with the 94XP unless you are just looking for an extra ski.

If you just buy the 95 does the trailer come with it? If not then it would be worth buying the 94 also.

im looking at a 94 XP- why not bother with it?

I saw them a second ago, but now I don't. So I need 50 feet of hose! Any particular best brand or place to get it at? And I need quarter inch right?

... I told her I could give her $500 for it in its current condition or she could go through the hassle of getting it fixed and pay the mechanic and all. She thought about it for a minute and took my offer...

$500 - You got a good deal, IMO. Particularly if it came with a title (?). Even the seat looks to be decent.

I am looking to buy a '95 XP800 in this same area (VA), but that one is not in as good shape. The deal seems to have gone cold, though, so maybe it fell through.

Nothing wrong with it. Its actually a pretty fast fun machine. Its just not a 787. If a 787 or 720 isnt in the budget, the 94 is a GREAT machine.

Now on the 95...that seat is amazing. Protect it with your life. I could prob pull $300 on it. The hood is amazing too.

I can set you up with a better bar cover if you want. I also have a couple yellow hard ones, but I dont think the shades of yellow match.

You got a great deal!

The seat has the dreaded knicks from people slamming it around. It looks like the vinyl is still soft and not all molded either. It is a shame there is those knicks. Still in great shape though. Now that hood I agree with nick that is nice. I caught some grief after painting my yellow hood.

OK, so now I have to know. What's the X for?

The difference between the 787 and the 787X is the 787X was bored .25 mm oversize from the factory. To race in the 1200 class at the time, the engine displacement had to be over 785 cc.

Yes it did come with a clear title! The handlebar cover has been painted black, and is chipping. The seat is very soft and in amazing shape, but still could use a little cleaning. What kind of wax should I wax the decals with? And what should I use on the gelcoat? Should I use a light sandpaper, and then a hard compound wax and then like a Nu finish? The same carb rebuild kit that I used on my '96 XP should work on this one right? Also what kind of results would I get out of this extended pump with my R&D 85/88 nozzle?
The lady set these skis out for sale on saturday, and on monday after work I decided to take a ride to the lake which is extremely rare this time of the year. I saw this ski on the side of the road and my eyes were about to pop out of my head. lol The timing was perfect and luck was on my side.
Hey Mash I am from Blackstone, but have a lakehouse at Lake Gaston. Where do you ride? Lake Chesdin?

What grade of fuel do I put in this thing? Does it have the same compression as all other 787s? Front cylinder had atleast 160 and the rear had 150. Can anyone give me some input on the Solas grate vs. the R&D?
