Up near Pensacola, it stays pretty cold up in the panhandle most days of winter unfortunately. I'll ride it a few times no worries about that, I prob won't even list it till Feb or March to cash in on the summer craze....

ok cool..yea, im interested in finding out how decent it runs at 135 psi in each jugular

135psi should be just fine. as Adam said as long as they are even 125psi and lower is where you will start to see some power loss and running problems. I rode my 95xp 720 for two years absolutely prob free 137psi on both when I bought it and 134psi after two hydro locks and a ton of abuse when I traded it off. lot of smiles left to be had on that motor

ps very nice job on the old girl will make some happy for sure ''LONG LIVE THE PINK''

Devastation.

I have no idea. I was messing with the carbs, grabbed the seat and saw it. I'm guessing it snagged on something when I took it off.

Are you sure that the cut wasn't already there before you stretched the vinyl. That would be my story

If it didn't have the bazillion staple holes in it, it might be my story too.... but doubt they'd fall for it now

Wish this site wasn't family friendly, I really feel like saying some dirty words

Call them and say you noticed after you stretched it the seat hasn't been sat on or ridden. Worth a try.

I would try for a new one see if they'll bite. being where the rip is you might be able to cut a small piece of the teal and glue it on the back side at least get it water tight.

"such a bummer dude"

Well besides the seat debacle, still waiting on them to get back with me, my wife insisted I do a before and after pic for my instagram..... don't ask.... so figured I'd share with you guys

I think she turned out pretty well.... starts right up first touch. Fixed the trailer too (rigged, fixed.... same thing right?)

I took it to the boat ramp and ran it on the trailer, it's been too damn cold and I've been too sick to take it out on the water, but she ran well on the trailer. I know to get a real feel for how she's running I need to take it out but until then, this gave me a warm and fuzzy. Also helped me dial in the idle on the carb

Weather was overcast but well enough to take her out today. Glad I did....I putted around the boat ramp and it would rev like it should, start building speed, then it almost felt like the drive shaft was disengaging. Would still be revving high, but wasn't picking up speed. Turned over fine and the compression is there. Any tips?

Btw, the weather was 70, but the water..... it wasn't....

There weren't any water leaks around the carrier bearing I assume. You rebuilt the pump right?

Yup, no leaks and replaced all the rings and jet pump oil. Only thing I can think is maybe the drive shaft didn't seat all the way? But I figured it would've made a grounding sound and it didn't

This probably has something to do with it..... part of my neoprene seal was in my prop
