hi everyone

Just noticed that my starboard throttle seems to be loose as compared to the port side. any ideas on how to rectify?

also have noriced that the neutral to forward lever is hard to move. idle to revers is fine as is forward through to reverse. any ideas?

i have greased the hell out of everthing at the lever end should i look at the bucket end?

thanks in advance

remove the 4-panhead screws that secure the white plate down, thats on the lever assy. Once done, lift the plate up about 3-5 inches, then "look" at the black assy where the levers protrude from. Right there, on right side(where your standing to remove those 4-panhead screws), you'll see a 1/2in hole, look inside that, and you'll see a "slot" in there, turn "it" with flathead screwdriver, 1/4 turn, clockwise...that "slot" is a black-flat screw that puts force against the starboard lever plate, to adjust friction. Keep turning until comfortable for you, or that the lever doesnt slam back into "idle" position....the F to N sticking, might be because, BOTH throttle levers need to be in the IDLE position, for it to allow the f/n/r/ lever to function/actuate smoothly.....if you ever need to adjust the "port" throttle, you'll need to then remove the 4-allen bolts that are securring the lever assy down, lift it up, then you'll see a "CHROME" panhead screw located underneath the starboard side adjuster......the f/n/r/ adjuster is on inside of lever assy(driver side), just remove the white plate for that also...

HI Guys i may have the port and starboard mixed up. The lever that is loose is the Middle of the three would this be the same procedure that timmy outlined above? to me is the port side and then the starboard is the most outer of the two - closest to the water. otherwise im going back to school to learn my left and rights again!!

have to say you have lost me with the Neutral to Forward Sticking does any one have a pic or graphic that shows which needs adjustment., its alittle late and im a little lost :)

cheers
