'95 Speedster shuts off

Hi Guys. I have a '95 Speedster that just quits, at speed or idiling. Both engines. It will start back up right away. Also, it sometimes won't start without resetting the Neutral and reinserting the key. Only beeps when I press either starter. Worries my wife. Are the two related. Can the key button on the dash be replaced?

has to be a bad landyard post. Clean w/ soap water and wire brush, maybe debris/rust build'n up, but if no go, then replace the post..Snipe just helped day or 2 ago w/ someone on same issue..believe "theap64"...and for nuetral, needs to be put back for reset the mpem, or if key left on to long,...
