hi i have a set of carbs off a 96hx that had a 720 man theses carbs look like they have never been used so,what i was wondering is if any one knows if they are the same or can i use them on my 97 challenger that has the 787 ? they look the same, couldn't i just give the high screw a little left turn?

the HX carbs, are dual 38mm, the 787 takes dual 40mm. You'll lose 1mm radius of air, so if you go that route, atleast jet them accordingly...142main, 70pilot, with LSA at 1, HSA mag=0,pto=1/2, along with the 1.5n/s and black(80gram) or dull silver(95gram) spring.

soooo?yes?if i lose a few 100 rpms? ill be cool with that i have no other carbs :(the old ones are locked up like rocks what iam wondering if i can use these 38mm carbs on my 787 with out hurting my motor making it run lean ?

Re-jetted...

Yes, you can use them. You'll have to re-jet and change the pop-off. You can find these parts in the Seadoowarehouse!...
