717 idle adjustment

I tried to search this but the search is not working correctly. I search "idle" and it tells me nothing found.

I need to adjust the idle up on the engines I am working on. Whoever played with it before has it idling at 1000 rpm in the water. They should be a 1500 rpm for the 717.

Refresh my memory where are the setting to bring these up?

an angled "T" adjuster, on left side of carb.

Yup... like Seadooya said... it's a "T" handle, on the carb where the throttle cable is attached.

Look for the cable, and you will see it coming off at a 45 degree angle.
