bought a 717 to put in my 94 spx. I have the carbs, intake, and exh manifold on the 717. I have done lots of searching and reading, but still have a few questions.
1. if I put electronics from the 657 on 717 where do I get a higher rev-limiter, and how do I change it?
2. will my old exh work on the 717 manifold if I re route the water lines?
3. Is there any thing else I need before doing the swap?
I do have some mechanical ability, but I mostly only work on diesel engines. thanks for any help.
