My son was riding our 2013 GTI SE 130 yesterday. Hit a wave and the Engine Light came on with an audible alarm. He pulled the landyard, waited 5 minutes, and started it back up again. Ran without issue back to the dock. I have ~125 hours on the machine, I change the oil and filter every season, Brand new battery installed this year before it went in the water.

I connected my Candoo and read the codes. Not sure how long they have been stored for haven't checked for 2 years.

P1661 - IBR Jammed
P1106 - Altitude Correction Factor Not Plausible - Out of Range
B2200 - Lost GPS Signal
C2111 - ECM Erratic RPM Signal

Started up the machine right after I read the codes tonight - it is running fine.

What should I do next?

Tell your son to stay off the throttle when he’s airborne, or hide the yellow key maybe. As far as the codes go clear them if you want, they are not active.

Bumping this thread as the same thing happened to me yesterday - hit a wave and the exact same things happen. I havent checked the codes with Candoo yet. Waited 5 minutes, plugged in the lanyard and everything was fine. I am ordering a new Oil Sensor - seems like a good starting point. Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Pretty sure the oil sensor would have nothing to do with your issue. The IBR system has all sorts of safety faults and is prone to intermittent faults which become inactive faults if there is no longer a problem after power is switched on and off.
