I got this list of P codes that I wanted to share with those looking for them, but having a problem either finding their meaning or what all they cover.

To get a list of stored codes from your computer, for 4TEC skis up to 2003: with the engine off, plug in your lanyard and hit SET 5 times. If nothing happens you need a dealer to read the codes. Here is a list of what they mean, if any come up:

Here is the list of trouble codes displayed on all Sea-Doo 4-stroke 4-TEC equiped skis. It will take a dealer and parts to cure most of these, but it at least gives you an indication of the fault, and sometimes you can replace the part yourself.

Hi I have a fault code of p0505 on my 2003 seadoo gtx could you tell me what the DLA output stage means
Thank you

Trying to verify what Fault Code P2081 is on a 2010 GTXiS 215........ I'm thinking it's Exhaust Temp Sensor but NOT sure. Anyone have an updated listing of codes?

thanks,

Exhaust temperature sensor fault

Intermittent connection. Damaged sensor, damaged circuit wires, damaged connector or damaged ECM output pins.

Check for approximately 2280 to 2736 ohms at temperature of 19 to 21 degrees C between system circuits A-H4 and A-J4. Refer to service manual for more details.

I just encountered P0505. I could not find anything about it with a search on this site (I just now noticed the sticky). A general google search revealed that in the automotive world, this is a problem with the idle air control. When I saw that, I knew what the problem was. I had disconnected mine to swap out the battery and forgot to reconnect it. Plugging it back in solved the problem.

So, P0505 might actually be for idle air control, instead.
