300 vs 260 supercharger

One of my 2015 GTX iS 260s is approaching the 100 hour rebuilt time. I know that the 300 series superchargers don't require the frequent rebuilds. Is it possible to upgrade to the 300's, or is the stock 260 the same way now? Or, are the aftermarket ones more durable/reliable?

I am pretty sure the flywheels are different, so no, you can't just bolt one one.
