New to the forum - great source of information!
I have a 93 GTX (587) that suddenly stopped running; I have no spark at all, and suspect the coil died (it's the original).
I'm getting an Open circuit from the coil primary tab to either of the spark plug boots. Can someone confirm that this should normally be in the 4.5k ohms range (a minimal resistance from the coil primary to secondary plus the spark plug resistor cap at about 4.5k)?
On the secondary side, from plug boot to plug boot (through the secondary plus both resistor caps) I'm getting 22k ohms which is right in line per my information.
